Bodegas Peñafalcón opted for the trend of wine tourism, being one of the pioneering wineries in the foundation of the Ribera del Duero Route Bodegas Peñafalcón uses one of its facilities exclusively for wine tourism, with approximately 1,200 m2. The visitor, lover of wine, in the Peñafalcón wine tourism, will be able to enjoy the different trades of our great-grandparents' times, from the Roman plows to the tools that are currently used on earth. This section allows to know the space in which the tools and the machines were repaired with which the field was worked and the warehouses in which the wines were elaborated in that time, almost a century ago.
We mention and remember with pride the native wineries, excavated underground and their customs (with perforated doors and lights); We see tools related to the cooperage and the transport of grapes (wicker behavior and baskets) that were carried in cars pulled by males or mules, which was the transport system of the time. The visit becomes a journey through the evolution and history of wine and allows to know the evolution of the machines that replace the winery beam and ends seeing the old winery beam, the spindle and the stone.
